I'm born and raised in London,graduated from the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 1993. I was appointed the Creative Director of Balmain in 1995. I launched own fashion house under my name in a joint venture with LVMH Möet Hennesey Louis Vuitton Group and showed my first collection in London in 1999. I was appointed the Artistic director for Jean-Louis Scherrer haute couture in Paris in 2001. I won Council of The British Fashion Awards and the VH1/Vogue Fashion award for best women's designer in 2002.
